Natasha CollinsOur bodies and minds crave both movement and stillness. Yoga means unity, unity of the mind, body and spirit. In yoga we use our breath, linked with postures (asana) to focus the mind and the body. I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching yoga since 2010. The changes yoga has facilitated for me personally have been amazing.
My aim is to help every single one of my students to benefit from yoga. For some it may be that they just want to be able to relax or calm the mind, some wish to become stronger, or more flexible or physically fitter and healthier. I work with people from all walks of life, all abilities and all ages. Yoga doesn't discriminate and is there for everyone to benefit from. |
I teach Hatha, Vinyasa flow and restorative yoga. All styles of yoga originate from Hatha yoga, which simply means movement with the breath. Vinyasa is a dynamic form of yoga, where postures flow from one to the next, mindfully and with the breath. Alignment and correct practice of asana is incredibly important to insure your body is safe and your focus remains on your practice. Restorative yoga is a gentle practice for when all you need is to restore and heal the body.
My classes include asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation.
I teach a variety of group classes, 1-2-1's, workshops and retreats.
